I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) who has a private counseling practice in Rochester, Minnesota. My therapy practice includes work with individuals, couples, and families around a variety of concerns including relationship issues, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, adolescent transition issues, and spiritual concerns. I provide counseling for adolescents, adults and elders.
As a therapist, my style is calm, supportive and caring. I provide people with a safe environment where they can explore their relationships and decisions, while providing feedback from my systems and attachment orientation. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing while in therapy.
As a psychotherapist and registered nurse, my approach to therapy includes being attentive to people as a whole. My experience and education provide added insight into how physical, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and relational problems impact a person's well-being. I've been a registered nurse for 19 years, and have focused counseling experience working with hospice patients and their families around grief and loss issues.
My husband and I have two teenage children.
